There's an article today on ABC.com about a Mercy For Animals undercover investigator's footage from a large New York dairy operation. The article is sympathetic to the cows and includes excruciating footage of tail dockings and dehornings. The dairy trade group says that tail docking is done for cleanliness reasons, while the California director from the Humane Society says it is barbaric and unnecessary.
