Hey does anyone know of or have a good vegetarian or vegan doctor? The doc I have been seeing (twice) is arguing with me about my vegan diet and he's pretty insensitive about it as well. He eats meat so I know where my money is going when I pay him. If you know of a good-hearted doc please let me know : (

Thanks Errol. I'm proud of any patient who eats vegan! (but I'm encouraged over any patient who even takes baby steps towards a healthier lifestyle... even if they aren't vegan.) Crissy, educate your doctor through the website of Physcians Committee for Responsible Medicine, www.pcrm.org. Vegan is the name of the game with them and they are doing great work!! I highly recommend this nonprofit!!
This is a major issue. Chris and I have run into the same thing. We really like our doctor, and while he is not hostile to the idea of us being vegan, he doesn't really support it either.
