About Me
I am a 59 year old gay male (out since 1969), currently with a committed, life-partner (15 years and counting).
I have been a vegan since 1989, vegetarian since 1982.
I am a liberal Democrat.
I am retired from the University of Texas at Austin since 2003 and do some part-time work when it becomes available.
My sense of style? Well, I'm pretty casual, but fairly conservative. I like comfortable clothing and shoes. Polo-style shirts made of soft cotton and shorts and sandals, mostly.
I love flowers, art, good food, good company, music and film.
The last thing I bought for a friend was food.

I attended many Action for Animals events/demonstrations in the 1990s. I have since become less active. However, I will always consider myself an advocate for the rights of animals.
