I've lived in Austin for almost 10 years. I work in the tech/dotcom industry and even after several layoffs, Austin has been good to me. Animal rights became a very important issue for me when I was in high school. I've been veg for the last 18 years of my life, vegan for 16 years. When I was in college I started an animal rights group and started organizing actions, many of which were very successful. Hey John:
Didn't know you had an animal rights group in college. I would be interested in hearing some of the things you guys did. National Primate Liberation Week is in October and I could use some clever and effective ideas this time around ;)
Thanks Errol, it was good seeing you guys at the circus demo. I'm looking forward to getting more involved.
Hey John! It's great to see you on here. I hope you like the new site. It is still a work in progress, but so far it seems to be doing its job -- helping people connect, organize, and share info about animal issues. Please surf by often and post away when you get the urge!
