About Me
I'm Kelly. I am a vegan cupcake connoisseur.
I've been involved with AFA for awhile now.
I recently graduated from UT. While there I led the student animal rights group, which is now in the good hands of my fellow UT activists. I've also worked/work for Peta2 doing outreach on band tours and now I just do data entry. I'm currently also a foster parent for Austin Pets Alive! and a shelter volunteer at Town Lake Animal Center. If you are ever looking for a dog or cat, come on down... we got tons of them!

Last Fall I took a social documentary class at UT for my Radio-TV-Film major. For the class I made a film about Austin's animal shelter, Town Lake Animal Center, and Austin Pets Alive!, an animal rescue group working toward making Austin a no-kill city. I'm glad to report that there's another Animal Advisory Commission meeting this week and the topic of banning the retail sale of pets is on the agenda. Hi Kelly, It Shari from PETA -I just love your profile picture, it does make me kinda hungry looking at it anyway.. could you make it to the protest on Ringling Bros Circus on Aug 19th Wed at 6:30 pm. This protest would be the one to get the media out there in hopes of covering the story on the Federal Charges pending against Ringling Bros.
There will be other protest on the other days to pass out leaflet, which we are going to pass out leaflets on the opening night also! But the opening night will be so awesome.
