About Me
I am a UT grad student and longtime animal rights activist excited to be involved in the Austin community. I have been so blessed to volunteer with the Austin Humane Society and now to be involved with Action for Animals is a wonderful path for me. Activism reminds me of the story of the little boy and the starfish...I may not be able to save all the animals in need, but if I can make a difference in any way (like I did when I adopted my two rescue kittens pictures in my profile!), this journey will be well worth it!

It is one thing to think advocacy. It is another to show up and do advocacy. I am still beyond touched by our visit yesterday to Sunny Day Farms outside San Antonio. What a beautiful, well run facility! Every hands on experience energizes me and makes me want to do more for the animals.
