Action for Animals Austin

Chris and I had a blast checking out all the cool DIY goods at the Renegade Craft Fair at The Palmer Events Center last month.

In particular, we really liked all the cool brightly-colored vegan accessories (belts, purses, checkbook covers, and more) offered by Miss Alison.

We got to talking and I mentioned that I had been looking for a cuff-style watch band for an old 60s Seiko watch I have had in a drawer for years.  There are tons of options out on the Internet, but all the ones I could find were leather -- bleah!

She offered to take my watch and create a custom band for me.

My new band arrived a few days ago and I love it!

It just goes to show that you can make ethical choices and still look good if you are willing to put in a little effort.
