MSNBC reports that a 24-year-old man in Columbus, Ohio, was mauled after he let out a bear for feeding at an exotic animal collector's home. So many things went wrong here. OHIO allows people to "collect" wild and dangerous animals like bears. OHIO allows contact between wild animals at exhibits and humans. Indeed, the collector of this bear allowed people to wrestle his bears until animal rights groups complained and had his exhibitors license revoked....

Yes, I was at Wheatsville on Saturday!!! Hey, nice to meet you. To borrow a cliche, Austin's a small town. :)
Good tip on pointing out that some of the largest land creatures on the planet are vegetarians (such as elephants).

P.S. I participate in 1/2 marathons. I did my first marathon in 2008 when I was pregnant with our second son, as well as my first 1/2. This year I did two 1/2 marathons. I love to show that vegans are healthy and do not need meat to be strong. My example are the great creatures in the wild that live off of veggies only, the elephants, gorillas, pandas, etc. They are the strongest. We look forward to meeting you too.
Thanks Ernest. I love showing people that vegan kids are healthy and happy. My boys request fruit when we go to the grocery store, not the crap candy at the register. Veggie kids are the best.
