PETA is organizing a national day of action against Sea Worlds across the United States. Why? Two of its female orcas are pregnant. Both were impregnated by Tilikum, the male orca who killed a trainer at Sea World Orlando a couple of months ago. In response, PETA has asked Action for Animals to head up a demo in San Antonio for this Saturday, May 29th. Want to join us?
We'll be meeting in South Austin to carpool at 10:00 A.M. We should return back to Austin by 2:00 PM. Some of us may decide to stay for lunch so that group may return by 3:00 PM.
We have signs and banners so no need to bring anything other than yourself and a friend. If you go, please wear light colored clothing, a cap, and sun screen. We'll also be bringing water.
