PETA files lawsuit calling Sea World's use of dolpins & killer whales "slavery"

This week, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) filed a lawsuit alleging that Sea World's use of dolphins and killer whales constitutes slavery. They have virtually no chance of winning but this story will get a huge amount of media attention leading many people to start thinking that this does constitute slavery.

Their best argument: "hinges on the fact that the 13th Amendment, while prohibiting slavery and involuntary servitude, does not specify that only humans can be victims."
