Action for Animals Austin

UPDATE: Unfortunately we've had to postpone the first stop on the Tour of Vegan Trailers. The new date of September 3rd is tentative (frankly, I just did it to put in a future date so I could keep the event on Facebook), but we'll let everyone know what the real date is soon.

When we have that date, we invite everyone to come to the Vegan Yacht to celebrate all the hard work at the Ringling Circus.

Hey folks, after the leafleting is done on Friday night, there'll be an "afterparty" of sorts at the Vegan Yacht! This'll be the first stop on something called the Tour of Vegan Trailers- Friday Night Series, which will be hitting four trailers from now through September. This one is being done in support of and gratitude to everyone with Action for Animals Austin. It starts after the leafleting work at the circus is scheduled to finish at 7:30 (so really the start time for this visit is "as soon as people start arriving").

So come hang out after a long week, have some great vegan food courtesy of the Vegan Yacht, and celebrate the great work that Action for Animals is doing here in Austin! (And you'll still have the chance to help out by leafleting at the circus on Saturday or Sunday!)

As for the rest of the Tour of Vegan Trailers, there'll be three more stops: Edible Earth, Iggi's Texatarian, and Counter Culture. They'll be going on through September, in support of other vegetarian groups and events. Check back here or with your favorite Austin vegetarian Facebook group for updates, they'll be posted in all the "faceplaces" we gather!
