Action for Animals Austin

Hey everybody, remember back in August when we were going to do a stop on the Austin Tour of Vegan Trailers for Action for Animals? It was going to be an afterparty for the leafletting crew at the circus on that Friday night, but we had to postpone.

Well, we've got the Tour schedule rolling again, and we're set up to do a special gathering for AfAA at The Vegan Yacht in October. In two weeks, on October 8th, we want to have a party for the vegan/vegatarian community to show their appreciation/support/love for Action for Animals and everything they've done this year (and, well, ever).

I just want to check and make sure that October 8th is a good date for people from AfAA to make it to the Vegan Yacht (which is moving this week a block further west on E. 6th St.). Please look in the Events forum and post your response if that date is good for you- if it's not and you'd rather do it on the 15th or the 22nd (all Fridays), then say so, but those are basically the choices available. We'll make the decision in as democratic a way as we can. But if at all possible, it'll make it a lot easier to keep the date on the 8th as far as the other stops on the tour go.
