Q: What are Tags?
Tags are short descriptors that you can assign to your blogs, pictures, etc. You can use them to help organize content on this site. You can assign as many tags as you like and rename or delete them later. Tags can have more than one word and may contain spaces.
Q: How do I embed images and flash using the rich text editor?
You can add images or flash media to your profile and your blog posts by using the image and media buttons on the rich text editor.
Q: What is the difference between a blog and a forum?
When you post an item to the blog, it is displayed on the front page of the web site. Therefore, blogs are best suited for announcing items that you believe should be of interest to everybody. Blog posts are also a little more formal. They don't have to be long, but you should proof-read carefully and think of it like an article you might submit to a newspaper.
The forums are a place for free discussion. This is the place for planning, discussing, asking questions, etc. Often a forum topic will be started to discuss organizing our participation in an event that we learned about because somebody posted it as a blog. Forum topics are not published on the front page of the web site, so they can be less formal.
